Verum Identitatem, or V.I. for short, is a developing music producer and mixing engineer. Known first as Dashe Iluyemi, he was born in Malaysia before moving to Muscat, Oman. V.I.'s multi-cultural upbringing has inspired his unique sound & vibe.​

V.I. started learning to play the guitar at the age of 12, and the bass at the age of 14. A few years later, he got his first drum sequencer, sparking his love for music production. He started creating drum and bass instrumental jams which later led onto more complex instrumentals and beats. ​

V.I. is now currently based in the United Kingdom, still with a fiery passion for music production. He specialises in producing hip-hop, trap, and lofi beats with a non-mainstream sound that brings about an emotional response before even taking the lyrics in.​
